What we deliver

Scope of work

Every engagement is scoped in writing before it starts. A typical engagement includes:

  • Target architecture and architecture decision records
  • C4 and UML models, Tech Radar and architecture review packs
  • Microservices decomposition with domain-driven design and CQRS
  • Event-driven architecture with Kafka, Event Hubs or Service Bus, including saga and outbox patterns
  • Non-functional design: performance, resilience, security and cost
  • Steering-committee advisory and architecture governance
  • Proofs of concept for high-risk decisions before they are committed

What you get

Outcomes

  • Systems that hold up under real load and real scrutiny
  • Decisions recorded with their reasons, so they can be revisited safely
  • Teams aligned on one architecture rather than several

Track record

Experience behind it

  • More than sixteen years in software engineering and enterprise architecture
  • Solution architect for an energy-market analytics re-platforming: around 30 percent latency reduction using Azure Event Hubs, API Management and Kafka
  • Technical architect for a central-bank platform in Singapore, with around 40 percent faster API response times
  • Led an architecture guild spanning four or more countries

I had the pleasure of working with Shreyans in the same team, where he designed our project using a microservices architecture based on the client’s requirements. Shreyans always thinks ahead, anticipating challenges and finding ways to keep the architecture simple and efficient. … His ability to promote clean architecture and foster a positive, productive environment makes him a valuable asset to any organization.

FAQ

Common questions

Something else on your mind? Ask us directly.

What is the difference between solution and enterprise architecture?

Solution architecture designs a specific system to meet its requirements. Enterprise architecture shapes how systems across an organisation fit together. We work at both levels, and most engagements need a little of each.

Can you join an existing programme mid-flight?

Yes. We often start with an architecture review of what exists, record the decisions already taken, and then help steer the remaining work.

What documentation do you produce?

Architecture decision records, C4 context, container and component diagrams, non-functional requirements, and review packs for steering committees and security teams.
